Dr. Malueg

Dr. Jessica Malueg:

Dr. Malueg started her veterinary career with us in 2010.  A southern Wisconsin native, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2005 and then earned her DVM at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  Dr. Malueg's veterinary interests include general small animal medicine and surgery.  She enjoys educating clients about wellness and preventative care, especially for those adding a new pet to their family.

Dr. Malueg grew up in rural southern Wisconsin where her interest in caring for animals started at young age.  She was very active in 4-H and showed a variety of animals at the fair.  Dr. Malueg understands and appreciates the strength of the human-animal bond.  She and her husband are starting a family but will always consider their black lab "Puck" to be their first child.  Outside of work Dr. Malueg enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, country music and supporting her favorite sports teams, the Packers and Brewers.

Dr. ScannellDr. Manuela Scannell:

Dr. Scannell graduated in 1989 from Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.  She then moved to the US and completed her veterinary licensing requirements in 1992 at Iowa State University in Ames, IA.  In the spring of 1992 she began working at Tuckaway Animal Hospital.  After a brief stint at Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center she returned to Alta View/Tuckaway part-time.    Dr. Scannell currently works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  Her special interests include nutrition and cytology.

Dr. Scannell enjoys spending time with her husband and five children.  Outside of work she likes reading, walking, nature and being part of the Milwaukee German community.  She and her family are associated with the Milwaukee Spielmannszug (Drum and Bugle Corps) and the Milwaukee German Immersion School.

Dr. MuellerDr. Joseph Mueller:

Dr. Mueller undergraduate studies were in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also completed his veterinary degree in 2016. He comes to Alta View from Madison, but originally from Milwaukee. Particular veterinary medicine interest include dermatology, clinical pathology, and surgery. Though new to Alta View, Dr. Mueller's love of animals goes a long way back. He grew up with guinea pigs and cats, and can't wait to meet your companions of any species!

He currently shares his home with his three cats: Snoopy, Pretzels, and Beeper, as well as his aquatic turtle, Tabatha. In Dr. Mueller's free time, he enjoys rediscovering Milwaukee's treasures, cooking, home-brewing, golfing, cheesy science fiction shows and movies, and following his favorite Wisconsin sports teams.
